Cairns Road Runners is a non-profit organisation providing a fun and sociable environment to promote health and fitness.
All runners and walkers regardless of ability are welcome to attend.
We have something on offer for all types of runners:
Road Running and Racing; Track Running; Trail Running; Fun Runs; Social Events. And training too.
Beginners are welcome – we cater for all ages and abilities!

Our Run Club program will have you running your best in no time. From beginners who are just starting out, to advanced runners wanting to improve their personal bests and learn more about running, this program is for you!

Our run club sessions will be held at different locations each week (all central to the city). Experience different types of running training (interval, long slow distance, weighted), different terrains (hills, sand, flat, mixed) and a group of runners and coaches that will help you reach your running goals!

Dynamic Running Ltd. aims to inspire runners into a life-long passion for running. The company limited by guarantee was created in April 2014 as a not for profit organisation to promote running, and in particular group training for runners in the Cairns area. We are based in Edge Hill, and we also offer clinics at selected venues around the region. We link runners with runners. We have a few signature races during the year, but most of the time we just run.
What’s on your ‘bucket’ list? Once you get started with Dynamic Running, we predict that your list will become longer, as you try to fit in as many running events into your schedule as you can!
Whether your goal is to get fit, lose weight or run your first 5km, we can help you. Or you might be bit more ambitious, aiming for your first half marathon, marathon or beyond. Our members travel far and wide to compete in running events, while others are trying out their first 5km through to Ultra Marathons here in Cairns.
We encourage club members to dream of what they want to achieve, and set their goals based on that and not limit themselves. We’ve learnt that the human body is capable of much more than we can ever imagine or give it credit for.
TRAILBLAZER: RUNNING CLUB
Running with F45 is like no running you’ve ever done before.
It’s organised, challenging and great fun for the entire team. Come kill some kilometres.
As all Dirty Northern Trail Running Series courses are selected with scenery and running enjoyment in mind, we believe our events showcase some of the best runs, through some of the most scenic locations, in the Wet Tropics.
We want to maintain the natural beauty on our doorstep for future generations, and we are proud to focus on minimising the collective carbon and environmental footprint of each event. This means that before, during and after each race, the runners, supporters and spectators are encouraged to follow standard ‘leave no trace’ environmental guidelines.
This is an essential component of permit criteria and is vital to the success of future permit applications. Event coordinators consider waste elimination and resource use a priority in all purchasing and event planning.
So, when planning your transport to and from events, why not contact event coordinators to see if you can catch a ride with, or offer a lift to, other competitors? And don’t forget, no disposable cups, plates or cutlery are available on the courses or at the finish so consider this in your hydration/event planning.
It is a 5km run – it’s you against the clock.

Nothing – it’s free! but please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won’t get a time.
We all run for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!
