Our Rise & Shine classes are designed to help you do just that – Rise & Shine! A morning practice that you can add to your day that will have you glowing until the evening. You can expect a steady Vinyasa style class with some energising and uplifting sequences. Movement with breath will be the main focus, but we will often have a theme to our classes, whether it be a chakra, one of the 5 elements or an area of the body to focus on (or whatever other inspiration the teacher feels to share)
We sometimes add breathing techniques and other exercises to uplift the energy and get you really present in your body.
Expect to feel leaving radiant and alive, with fresh energy buzzing through your cells!
Every Wednesday 7.30-8.40am and Saturday 7.30-8.40 & 9.00 – 10.10am at Palm Cove Beach
| HATHA FLOW |
In our Hatha Flow classes, you can expect to see a little bit of flow or movement between your Hatha Postures. More gentle than our ‘Rise & Shine’ Classes, we take this class a little bit slower. You can still expect movement and slow flow, but with time to explore each posture a little bit longer and to enjoy and saviour transitions.
We will usually have a theme or idea to focus the practice on, whether it be a part of the body, an energy centre or a poem.
We always start with a short meditation and finish with a guided savasana/relaxation.
Expect to leave feeling grounded and relaxed.
Every Monday 8-9am at Sarayi Rooftop, Tuesday 7.30-8.40am at Palm Cove Beach, Thursday 8-9am at Sarayi Rooftop, Thursday 9.45am-10.45am at Palm Cove Beach and Sunday 8.30-9.40am at Palm Cove Beach.
| YANG TO YIN |
This class is perfect for the evening. We start the practice in a more ‘Yang’ way, with some movement with breath and some gentle flows.
We then move into our ‘Yin’ part of the practice where by we hold our postures a little longer (2-5 minutes) and find deep release in our bodies and time to check in with ourselves. These longer held postures offer a chance to practice meditation, each posture being a bite sized meditation where by you will be guided to a place of deep presence and relaxation.
Expect to leave feeling centered and calm for the evening ahead (and likely to have a very good sleep!
